Tokyo Motorcycle Show debut for Teluru team JiR Web!ke

It was a weekend of work for the rider and the management of the JiR racing team as they took the opportunity to attend the 41st Tokyo Motorcycle Show, the motorcycling fair which is the most important in The Land of the Rising Sun.

The big news from the event was the unveiling of the cool new 750cc Honda NM4 which will also be available for the European market. Present also was the TSR Moto2 bike of Teluru team JiR Web!ke that greeted show-goers in the entrance hall.

This was the first promotional operation with main sponsor Teluru, that through mobile phone shops represents an important channel of communication for the team.

The rider of the team Tetsuta Nagashima attended a Saturday talk show in front of the public to explain his feelings behind his new challenge in the Moto2 World Championship. Meanwhile on Sunday there was a welcome return to the stage of Tetsuya Harada and Kazuto Sakata – two great Japanese champions of the sport. More than 113,800 visitors attended the show during the three day event.

The team Principal, Gianluca Montiron has verified strategies involving the major investors of JiR’s Moto2 project. The company Web!ke leader in the sale of motorcycle accessories online has organised on Friday evening the opportunity to submit to their Partners the objectives of involvement in the project sports and commercial that sees the team at the centre of the initiatives of interest. European suppliers interested in Asian markets and on the opposite side, export of products ‘Made in Japan’.

The team now goes back to base before travelling to Texas where the second round of the Moto2 World Championship takes place on April 13th in Austin, USA.
